Acceptance

By using Apex Respiratory, a platform operated by Apex Ascend Group, LLC, you agree to these terms, the medical disclaimer, and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Creating an account requires your explicit agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We record that agreement with the accepted policy versions, your account identifier, and the database time.

Educational purpose

The site provides educational content for respiratory therapy students and clinicians. It is not medical advice and must not be used as the basis for clinical decisions. The medical disclaimer applies to every page, tool, and practice question.

Accounts

Some features may let you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe present a risk to the site or its users. You may stop using the site or request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Accounts are intended for users 13 years of age or older.

Acceptable use

• Personal study and clinical education are welcome uses.
• Do not enter patient names, MRNs, dates of birth, room/bed identifiers, or other patient-identifying information into notebook, flashcards, templates, or other account content. Apex Respiratory is not intended for medical-record documentation. Use non-identifying study or workflow labels only, whether signed in or signed out.
• Do not scrape, republish, or redistribute site content at scale without written permission.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems, or interfere with its integrity or performance.
• Anything you add to your account — a display name or profile photo — must be lawful and yours to use.
• Do not present site content as affiliated with or endorsed by any credentialing body — it is not.

Intellectual property

Site content, design, and code are the property of Apex Ascend Group, LLC (operating as Apex Respiratory) unless otherwise noted. Cited sources remain the property of their publishers. See the copyright page for attribution and permission details.

Advertising

Advertising and the Google AdSense loader are disabled in this release. See the privacy policy for the analytics and storage behavior that currently applies.

Third-party links and services

The site may link to or rely on third-party websites, tools, and services that we do not control or endorse. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to those parties’ own terms and privacy policies.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex Ascend Group, LLC (operating as Apex Respiratory) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, including decisions made in reliance on its content.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apex Ascend Group, LLC — the operator of Apex Respiratory — from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
